FCC certification (USA)

Also known as the U.S. Federal Communications certification, FCC (Federal Communications Commission) was established by communications in 1934. It is an independent agency of the U.S. government and is directly responsible to Congress. The FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by controlling radio, television, telecommunications, satellites and cables. Involving more than 50 U.S. states, Colombia and U.S. regions, in order to ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property, the office of engineering and technology of FCC is responsible for the technical support of the Committee and equipment approval. Many radio application products, communication products and digital products require FCC approval to enter the U.S. market. The FCC Committee investigates and studies all stages of product safety to find the best way to solve the problem. At the same time, the FCC also includes the detection of radio devices and aircraft.

According to the provisions of the relevant parts of the Federal Communications regulations of the United States (CFR Part 47), all electronic products entering the United States need Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification (except for the products specially specified in some relevant provisions). There are three common certification methods: certification, DOC and verification. The certification methods and procedures of these three products are quite different. The optional certification methods for different products are stipulated in FCC. The severity of its certification decreases. For these three kinds of certification, FCC committee also has relevant requirements for each laboratory. At present, the United States has become China's second largest trading partner for several consecutive years, and the trade volume between China and the United States is increasing year by year. Therefore, exports to the United States can not be underestimated. The strictness of American product technical standards and import regulations can be called the first in the world. Understanding American market access rules will help Chinese products further open the American market.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) - regulates the import and use of radio frequency devices, including computers, fax machines, electronic devices, radio receiving and transmission equipment, radio remote control toys, telephones, personal computers and other products that may harm personal safety. If these products want to be exported to the United States, they must be tested and approved by a government authorized laboratory in accordance with FCC technical standards. Importers and customs agents are required to declare that each radio frequency device complies with FCC standards, i.e. FCC licenses.
